Our faithful sailing companion, Admiral Nelson, died on September 15th, 2005. Admiral Nelson was a Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot which ususally live for 60-75 years. He was 21 years old. Bear received him as a suprise Christmas gift from his kids in 1985. Admiral sailed with us on all our sailing adventures. We imagined his thoughts when we would arrive in a new anchorage "hmmm, this backyard looks completely different from yesterday".
