The plan at the outset was a duplicate of the plan for last year, which was so rudely interrupted. For 2005 it was to depart Seattle, Washington in mid April, heading northward. Crossing into Canada (most likely at Victoria, British Columbia) they would explore the Straights of Georgia up to Desolation Sound, then explore the channels of the Inland Passage up to Prince Rupert, British Columbia by early June. Crossing into Alaska at Ketchekan an exploration of Southeast Alaska would follow. The plan was to return to British Columbia in the early to mid August time frame, checking out sights they missed on their northward trek. A return to Seattle would likely to be somewhere in late September or early October, 2005.
